Cannon Towel Store and worked in the wash cloth and set departments over her career. She then worked at Jackson Park Elementary School in the cafeteria. She was a member of Franklin Heights Baptist Church where she was active in many church activities including Sunday school teacher and choir member. Survivors include her husband, Ira Elwood Faulkner; son, Terry Wayne Faulkner, of Kannapolis; daughter, Denice F. Adkins, of Burlington; sister, Eloise Allman, of Kannapolis; brother, Staley Johnson of Kannapolis; granddaughter, Erica Faulkner, of Kannapolis; and step granddaughter, Cindy Julian, of Charlotte.1
