She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Hicks; brothers, Hugh, Henry and Clyde Moseley; sisters, Clara Ayscue, Julia Ball and Alice Faulkner.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. from Mountain Grove Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Cokesbury Methodist Church cemetery.

Surviving: son, George ?Tony? Hicks and wife, Anne of Franklinton; grandchildren, Tonya Herzog and husband, Mark of Virginia and Steward Hicks and wife, Teresa of Wake Forest; great-grandson, Justin Wright of Virginia; great-granddaughter, Molly DeWitt and husband, Eddie of Jacksonville, NC; numerous nieces and nephews.³
