He was the owner and operator of Renn's Radiator Service and Renn's Body Shop for the past 40 years. Mr. Renn was a member of Guess Road Baptist Church since 1969. He was a member of the Old Car Gang. He had a love for the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Mr. Renn always enjoyed cooking for his family and friends. To all of his grandchildren, he was known to them as "Our Pop".
  
  Survivors include his wife, Madelyn Winstead Renn; daughter, Missi Renn Lemmons of Durham; son, Charles Michael Renn II and wife, Ronda of Durham; grandchildren, Brandy Renn, Brittany Renn, Brooke Renn, Bridgette Renn, Maddy Gunn, and Mitch Gunn.
  
  Funeral services will be held at Guess Road Baptist Church on Tuesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Daniel Tilley officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.¹

  Graveside services with military rites will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Elmwood Cemetery by the Rev. Denny Wise.
  
  Surviving are two nephews and two sisters-in-law.

  Surviving are a son, Andrew Mac Renn of Henderson; a sister, Mollie R. Crocker of Henderson; a brother, Jack Renn of Henderson; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Edith R. Renn, and a brother, Shelton Renn.
  The family received friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Flowers Funeral Home. All other times, they will be at the home, 1204 Walters St.
