  Services were held at 8 p.m. Monday at Flowers Funeral Chapel, conducted by Rev. Rodney Inscoe and Rev. Henry Abbott. A private burial will be held today in Elmwood Cemetery.
  
  The family received friends on Monday from 7 to 7:45 p.m. at Flowers Funeral Home. At all other times, they can be contacted at the home of Robert and Maria Davis, 174 Willow Oak Drive.⁴

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, the Methodist Men's Club, and was a former of the Administrative Board. He was also a member of Siler City Lodge 403 A.F. & A.M. and was a former member of the Siler City Lions Club and the Siler City Fire Department.
  Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Thomas Sweeley and the Rev. Travis Owen officiating. Burial will be in Loves Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
  He is survived by son, Michael Thomas Renn of Greensboro; sister, Mrs. Lucille Renn Morgan of Henderson; brother, Lawerence Lee Renn of Virginia Beach, Va; and grandchildren; Meagan Elizabeth Renn and Carolina Brooks Renn.

  Surviving are his wife Shelby Harris Renn; two sons, Jonathan M. Renn, and Christopher A. Renn, both of Epsom; two sisters, Eris R. Lindsay, of Burlington, and Betsy R. Edwards, of Louisburg; three brothers, W.J. Renn, Alridge A. Renn, and Ronald T. Renn, all of Epsom; and three grandchildren, Kristen Renn, Leah Renn, and Channie Renn.¹

Mrs. Lawson was an avid bridge player, enjoying friendships in two Greenville bridge clubs as well as a member of the '76 Club and The Lector Book Club.Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, William Harris Lawson, Mrs. Lawson is survived by daughters, Nancy Lawson Oelrich and husband, Dr. William Oelrich, of Chesapeake, VA, Betsy Lawson Carnighan and husband, Rev. Ronald P. Carnighan, Lynne Lawson Carter and husband, Jay O. Carter Jr. all of Greenville; grandchildren, Beth Oelrich Clark and husband, Dr. William Clark, W. Lyle Oelrich Jr. and wife, Ashley, Jeffrey A. Oelrich, Lauren Renn Carnighan, Wesley Lynne Carnighan, James Carter, Will Carter and Ben Carter; great-grandchildren, Liam, and Lawson Oelrich, Bennett and Renn Clark, and her dear friend and caregiver, Mary Gorham. Helen will be remembered as a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Great-grandmother as well as a friend to all. She never met a stranger, enjoying people and sharing her love and her home with all who came to know her.³
