Mrs. Raines, a native of Franklin County, was the daughter of the late Edward and Roxie Cash Champion. She was the wife of Andrew H. Raines.
Before retiring, Mrs. Raines was employed at Harriet & Henderson Yarns. She was a member of Harriett Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Harriett Baptist Church by the Rev. Thomas J. Ragain. Burial will be in Sunset Gardens.
Mrs. Raines is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Shirley R. Barham of Henderson; a sister, Ms. Pearl Coghill of Warrenton; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
The family will receive visitors from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Flowers Funeral Home and at other times at the home of Shirley and Leon Barham, Route 3, Henderson, at Harris Crossroad.³
