  John W. Merrit bondsman. From Eliza Renn's Marriage Certificate, she states that her father is dead. She did not list his name but she did list her mother as Jackey Renn and that she was still living.²

  A native of Henderson, he had lived in Durham for several years and was employed in Alamance County as a hosiery worker until retiring.

Faulkner of Jamestown and Reece Faulkner of Morganton; three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Dockery of High Point, Mrs. Linda Eller and Mrs. Nancy Hill both of Durham: 20 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.⁴
