Both Franklin County and Vance County have committee's composed of genealogists and historians that are in the process of preparing County Heritage books for publication in 2011. The deadline has passed for the submission of articles, but you may still be able to place an order for a book.This will be the second volume published for Franklin and Vance County. These books will be filled with family histories and pictures as well as stories about local churches, schools, businesses, etc. They are a valuable source of genealogy for families from this area.
