However, he and his wife Martha state that they have been married for 12 years, have had 4 children and 3 are still living. Littleton was not married at age 8. This is most likely an error. Their son Willie is listed as having been born in Oct 1882 and he is 17 years of age. This entry is also peculiar. Their daughter Rosa, apparently named for Littleton's mother, is 11 years old. Mamie, is 9.³
